Situated at the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way, with an abundance of beaches, mountains, dramatic sea cliffs, rich heritage and activities a plenty this make Achill Island the perfect solution to our increasingly busy lifestyles.
Achill is all about fresh air and enjoyment of the simple things, but with a variety of watersports, horseriding and walking there is plenty to keep all ages occupied. Achill has 5 blue flag beaches and a Failte Ireland Wild Atlantic Way Signature Point at Keem Bay and of course the famous returned beach of Dooagh, which returned after 33 years and was a worldwide internet sensation this year. If activities are not for you we have a flourishing arts community or get cosy in one of our many local pubs, which are renowned for the friendly welcome and traditional music.
Achill has something for everyone and throughout the Summer month's and beyond there are an array of festivals and activities for a complete list of all the activities see Achill Tourism Website
There is a crazy golf course located in Keel and Achill Experience, Aquarium & Visitor Centre a short distance away, so if you are looking for something to do when the weather is not the best then there is an option.
